London based jewellery designer Hue Tawn Chan graduated from London College of Fashion (2013) with degree in BA (Hons) in Fashion Jewellery. Fascinated by the creative intricacy of knots and developing the idea of cleverly interweaving metal strips around the body, this contemporary collection features 3-dimensional easy to wear, unique statement jewellery, including bangles, rings, nipple clips and brooch pins. BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear

This project seeks to design a collection that pays homage to diamond miners. It takes inspiration from both historical and contemporary examples of dress worn by this worker. This work refers to the worker and is analyzed in three ways, which relate to the terms ‘Difficulty’, ‘Dirt’ and ‘Danger’. It is all about strong woman, grunge style and street looks, as models appeared in slouchy, denim fabric garments, including deconstructive jackets, functional jumpsuits and shift dress. These works pursue comfortable, protective, and functional elements. My work fuses strong masculine style with soft, luxurious construction. Rich fabrics, textured trims and a softer silhouette make up a collection of tailored coat, blazers, trouser, shirts and accessories. A dark colour palette mixed with bright orange contrasts, charcoal greys and deep blacks. Textural and sophisticated fabrics including rich cashmere, crisp cotton twill and brushed flannel. JEEGUI"FRAGMENT" A 15 autumn/winter season collection: investigating the concept that is ‘FRAGMENT’, representing an incomplete human development and fragmented memories of human history, through different texture, fabric and diagonal pattern cutting. ‘FRAGMENT’ in futuristic modern society is a representation of seeking traditional and primitive authenticity within humanity that we lost, against the lifestyles of modern society, which is lacking freedom, sameness or uniformity by large-scale manufacturing. In this collection, key fabrics are fur against showing with metallic silver leather and high tech bonded fabric. Basically, fur symbolizes the human authenticity from primitive and folk imagery, so that the fur in the collection is combined and crafted with futuristic fabric. It is a strong hybrid type of collection. Guyhyun is a menswear designer, who studied at London College of Fashion BA Menswear.
